Legacy DownloadInstallation Instructions
Follow the steps below for your operating system. NexusPlay requires an active internet connection on first launch to sync your library database.
Windows
1. Run NexusPlay_Setup_2.4.1.exe and accept the license agreement.
2. Choose your installation directory (default: C:\Program Files\NexusPlay).
3. Launch the application and sign in with your NexusPlay account to sync cloud saves and achievements.
4. Add external game directories via Settings > Library > Scan Path.
macOS
1. Open the downloaded NexusPlay_2.4.1.dmg file.
2. Drag the NexusPlay icon to the Applications folder.
3. If prompted by Gatekeeper, right-click the app, select Open, and confirm.
4. Grant Full Disk Access in System Settings > Privacy & Security if you store games on external drives.
Linux
1. For AppImage: Run chmod +x NexusPlay-2.4.1-x86_64.AppImage and execute.
2. For Flatpak: Install via flatpak install flathub com.nexusplay.Launcher.
3. Ensure Steam Runtime dependencies are installed for Proton compatibility.
4. Configure your default game launch path in Settings > Integration > Steam/Epic/GOG.
